Torillo Basses is a bass brand based in Germany.
Builder Tom is also active as a musician, and creates excellent basses based on his own experience.
He seems to have a career as a builder for over 20 years.
Because he is a professional musician himself, the basses he makes combine practicality for working on stage with the glamor that adds color to music.
To be honest, it is frustrating that production volume is not increasing because he is very active as a musician.
In fact, the three basses that arrived in 2024 were ordered before 2022.
The first time I met Tom was in Mannheim, Germany in 2019.
It was at a guitar show called Guitar Summit.
The outstanding quality can be felt at first glance, and that impression does not change in a good way even when you touch the latest products.
It was a well-established brand even back then.
By the way, at the venue in Germany where we first met, there was the master Etienne Mbappé, who was trying out Torillo Basses.
As I listened to him talk, he was really praising it and seemed to be considering buying one.
However, what he was interested in was something that GIB had reserved, and it was the first Chantico to arrive in Japan at that time.
Now, this is one of the three that arrived this time, a Chantico in the style of JB.
FCV stands for Full Custom Voice, and refers to the highest-end model, where all elements are built from scratch for a single order and manufactured with the highest technology.
The Chantico is a model that takes the jazz bass as its motif and mixes traditional elements in the Torillo style.

● Maintenance free forever
For instruments purchased at our store, you can use the "string vibration setup" (normally 4,400 yen) free of charge forever. (Reservation required)
・Please present a warranty card with your name written on it.
・Only the person who purchased the instrument at a GIB or TONIQ physical store or online shop is eligible.
・Please bear various expenses such as shipping costs.
● Repurchase price guarantee
If you sell the purchased item within 6 months after purchase, we will guarantee the purchase price at our store. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
● Defect guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some products such as consignments, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will only be made if this is not possible).
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
