The BG250-208 is a 250 W / 2 x 8" driver model with dual TonePrint slots for a wider range of tone variations.

Lightweight yet powerful
Even the most powerful amplifiers can be significantly under-utilised if they are too heavy and small to carry into the field, and the BG250 series uses state-of-the-art proprietary amplifier technology to deliver maximum volume at 250 watts, yet is one of the lightest and loudest amplifiers in its class. The result is one of the lightest and loudest amplifiers in its class. The sound is powerful, warm and yet fat, with no loss of high-mid or treble bandwidth even at high volumes.

TonePrint signature tone support
BG250 is Bass TonePrint compatible, allowing you to upload any effect, including signature effects from leading bass players, to the TonePrint slot. Effects can be switched or muted via the Switch-3 footswitch (optional, sold separately) or from the unit itself.

The TonePrint functionality includes proven effects from the Compact Effects line-up, plus additional effects for bass, from the tasteful BassDrive, which transplants the TubeDrive functionality of the RH750 TC bass amp head, The TC's unique bass-specific compression algorithm 'SpectraComp' is now also available as a TonePrint, TonePrint-related settings can be made via a free dedicated smartphone app or PC.

These signature parameters are made available to the general public free of charge as 'TonePrint files' and can be transferred to your pedals just like a dress-up.

Using the TonePrint App for iPhone / Android smartphones, TonePrint files can be transferred to the pedal via the instrument's pickup. This app is also available free of charge. TonePrints can be used anywhere, anytime, without the need for cables.
