Spector is a guitar and bass brand started by Stuart Spector in 1974 in New York.
Shortly after its inception, Vinnie Fodera, who later founded Fodera Guitars, also worked in Spector's workshop.
The brand's NS model became explosively popular worldwide, which was created together with Ned Steinberger.
This model is a modern model based on the NS design, but updated because it is modern.
The body is made of alder back and beautiful maple top.
The fingerboard is rosewood, and the neck is made of maple, and it's a 3-piece laminated neck.
The scale is 35 inches.
The pickups are EMG 40TW.
Each of them can be individually coil-tapped by pulling up the volume knob.
As you can see, the design is quite different from Fender, but the 3-dimensional curved body fits the body superbly and has perfect balance both when standing and sitting.
When you actually hold it, you can see that it is a very neatly balanced bass.
The string vibration system is well controlled and very playable.
A light touch quickly produces rich overtones.
The sound is clearly pronounced and clear, yet has an elegant flavor and a strong sense of sound pressure.
This is an excellent point typical of the brand and of very high quality.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod is fully tight.
The neck is currently straight. The string height is 2.5mm on the 1st string side and 3.3mm on the 5th string side at the 12th fret.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with a few small dents on the sides of the body. There are some buckle marks on the back of the body that are not easily noticeable.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
