Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as James Jemerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League.

The Precision Bass was the world's first solid electric bass with frets, and quickly captivated bassists around the world.
More than half a century has passed since its birth, and it is still loved as much as ever.

This product is a Precision Bass manufactured in 1959, one of the most popular vintage years.
It's a few years old with changes made from the shape called the original Precision Bass.

It is still being made in this form today, and is an early example of one of the most famous electric basses of all time.

The body is made of alder, and the neck is one-piece maple without a fingerboard laminated to it.
This is a specification unique to this era.

Rose fingerboard is popular for Alder body, but I personally like one-piece maple neck without fingerboard.
It has a strong, crisp, booming sound.
I think you will feel comfortable with it.

The pots have been replaced, both volume and tone are CTS's, and it is a '78.
The condenser has a Red Dime on it.

The bridge looks like it has been replaced.

The sound is wild and eloquent, as if one note says it all.
This is the kind of bass that makes you want to play it with a bang, without playing it in detail, just by the persuasiveness of the tone.
This bass is perfect for rock bands.
Recommended.

There are approximately 60% frets left.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition with some twisting and rippling. Also, there is a lot of fret lift on the 1st and 4th strings.
The current string height at the 12th fret is 2.5mm on the 1st string side and 3.0mm on the 4th string side, which is playable without any chattering or chattering.
I think that this type of bass will not be uncomfortable to play at these string heights.

However, if you have any requests to make it easier to play, GIB can repair it.

There are some darkening, dents, and paint peeling around the fingerboard and neck.
There is a crack that runs from near the 4th string peg post on the top of the head to the 3rd string peg on the back of the head.
When the pegs are removed, there are traces of glue, which suggests that the wood has cracked in the past and has been repaired.

The pegs appear to be original Cruson (reverse wound), but there are four holes for mounting screws hidden by the current pegs, which appear to have been replaced with other pegs, for a total of 16 holes.

The condition of the body and painted surface has numerous paint burns, paint peeling, and dings.
I think it has been played quite a bit.
After all, it was made in 1959, more than 60 years ago. It is amazing.

The electrical system is in good condition.
