This is a model with a classic JB motif.
The body is Alder, the neck is Light thermo maple, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
The tuning machine bridge is GOTOH.
Thermo maple is originally a Finnish building material for saunas and is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
Perhaps due to this, the sound starts up smoothly and has a pleasant response.
Some new basses give the impression that the strings are bent only on the frets, but this bass does not have that negative aspect.
However, the range and tension of the sound are just like a modern bass, and it's wonderful that they are well balanced.
