Sadowsky is a high-end brand based in New York with top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as customers.
Until now, Metroline was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over distribution of Sadowsky products, manufacturing moved to the Warwick factory in Germany.
Since the Japanese-made Metroline models were highly regarded, there were concerns about a decline in quality, but upon seeing the actual product, such concerns seem unfounded.
Compared to the Japanese-made version, the neck feels slightly thinner, and there are differences in the curvature of the body joint area.
This model is a reimagined masterpiece inspired by the Music Man style.
In fact, it feels more akin to the JB's rear humbucker version.
This model, which uses snakewood for the top, is a limited edition of 150 pieces.
The body back uses lightweight torrified swamp ash.
Roasted maple is used for the neck and fingerboard, which contributes to its smooth playability.
The fingerboard features bird's-eye maple.
The acoustic design ensures high-quality string vibration, resulting in a premium sound regardless of the pickup combination—whether it's the bridge pickup alone, the bridge pickup tapped, or the neck pickup.
The iconic preamp and versatile pickups are exceptionally well-designed.
Even with low string height, it produces a powerful sound.
While the MM+JB style may seem convenient, achieving the right balance is no easy feat.
In this context, the fact that it achieves such high quality truly reflects the strength of Sadowsky (including Warwick).

The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows slight high-end warping, but it can be played without issues at our store's standard string height setting of G string 2.0mm to E string 2.5mm.
The body and finish have a small scratch on the headstock and a large crack under the finish on the body top.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
