Navigator is a brand within the globally renowned ESP Group, primarily responsible for producing traditional models. The sound produced by the precise hand-crafted construction and carefully selected woods has earned it high praise from players both in Japan and abroad. This model is based on the 1970s JB. The body is constructed of Swamp Ash, with a single-piece hard maple neck and fingerboard. This combination accentuates the contours of each string, providing a pleasant sound projection and a wide range. It also responds sensitively to picking, giving the impression of accurately converting the player's nuances into sound. The pickups are Seymour Duncan ANTIQUITY II "Jive" pickups. The bridge has been replaced with Leo Quan Badass II pickups. The low end is firm yet solid, the mids are thick and present, and the top end has just the right amount of projection. This is a guitar that you can trust from the moment you pick it up, as is typical of a "high-quality Japanese JB." The look is one of battle-hardened quality. We highly recommend giving this guitar a try. Approximately 80% of the frets remain. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition. The body and finish show signs of use, with scratches, dents, and paint peeling. There is a screw hole between the neck and bridge pickups. The electrical system is in good condition. All control knobs and control plates have been replaced.
