The body is constructed of Swamp Ash, with a single-piece hard maple neck and fingerboard. It also responds sensitively to picking, giving the impression of accurately converting the player's nuances into sound. The pickups are Seymour Duncan ANTIQUITY II "Jive" pickups. The bridge has been replaced with Leo Quan Badass II pickups. The low end is firm yet solid, the mids are thick and present, and the top end has just the right amount of projection.
