Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
Fender is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1981.
As you can see in the pictures shown, we have made a comprehensive judgment based on the serial, pot date, and PU stamp.
The body is Ash, the fingerboard is Maple, and the configuration is 70s-like.
The nut appears to have been replaced, but we have determined that the rest of the body is probably largely original.
The back panel and counterbore have been added, making it easy to retrofit a preamp.
The frets are roughly 50% remaining.
The truss rod action is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it operates at about 90°.
The neck is in high condition and may be clogged depending on how it is played. Currently, the strings are set up at 2.5mm~2.0mm high, and no problems have occurred.
The condition of the body and painted surface is in player's condition. Although there are some noticeable scratches and reactions on the painted surface, there is no major damage to the wood, so there are no problems with the performance, and it can be said to be in player's condition.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The back panel and battery box have had a counterbore added, and a side jack has been added, but is currently a dummy. A history of nut replacement could also be confirmed.
