The tuning keys, bridge, nut, and frets show no signs of having been replaced and appear to be original.
Many of the screws are rusted and some of the pickguard screws are sticking, so cleaning without removing the pickguard has been temporarily suspended.
One finger rest mounting screw is broken.
Repairs such as removal of this can be done upon request.
There is a crack in the nut, but it seems to depend on the person whether to repair this or not.
It is in the binding, so it may remain problem free.
The frets are roughly 65% remaining.
The truss rod is a little loose, but we have confirmed that it works about 90°.
The neck has some torsion, with the first string bowing more forward than the fourth, but the first string is 2.5mm above the 12th fret and the fourth string is 3.0mm above the 12th fret, and can be played without any sound jamming.
The condition of the body and paint surface has many scratches, dings, and paint burns commensurate with its age.
The strings are slightly thicker Stringjoy strings.
GIB's craftsmen have adjusted the strings to make it easier to play.
Comes with the original black Tolex hard case (very damaged).
Comes with GIB 3-month warranty
