The Fender Japan brand has now been discontinued.
It's now part of the Fender MIJ series.
This is a modified PB70-70M.
It features the classic alder body and maple fingerboard.
A notable feature is the replacement of the pickups with EMG pickups.
It has the typical Precision Bass sound, but also the clear, speedy sound you'd expect from an EMG.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in poor condition, showing signs of high-rise. Adjusting it 0.2mm higher than the GIB standard (2.2mm-2.7mm at the 12th fret) allows for smooth playability.
The body and finish show dents and scratches. There are screw holes that appear to be from a pickup fence.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The tuning machines, pickguard, knobs, and bridge have been replaced. The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop ones. The pickups have been replaced with EMG ones.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
●Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
