Fender is undoubtedly the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's beloved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a premium model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is beloved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence to this day.
The Fender Japan brand has now been discontinued.
It is now part of the Fender MIJ series.
This is the JB75, modeled after the 1975 Fender Jazz Bass.
It features a popular ash body and rosewood fingerboard.
The pickups are made in the US.
It faithfully reproduces the iconic specifications of the 1970s Jazz Bass, including the three-point joint, distinctive bridge binding, and block inlays.
The generous bass and rich overtones typical of a Fender are a sound I've heard countless times on CD and in live performances.
It's fantastic.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows signs of being too high. Adjusting it 0.2mm higher than the GIB standard (2.2mm-2.7mm at the 12th fret) allows for smooth playability.
The body and paint show scratches and peeling. There is also some tarnish on the metal parts. The tuning machines are quite stiff.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The pickguard has been removed. The backs of the potentiometers have been connected to the jack. Only the endpin has been replaced with a Schaller one.
