Its sharp, clear sound is beloved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence to this day. The Fender Japan brand has now been discontinued. It is now part of the Fender MIJ series. This model is what's known as the Jaguar Bass. It has been extensively modified. The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic configuration. The pickups have been replaced with ATELIER Z single coils, and the preamp has been replaced with a BARTOLINI XTCT. The bridge has been replaced with a Leo Quan / BADASS II. The volume knobs are master volume and master tone. The area with three switches is the front PU: ON/OFF switch, rear PU: ON/OFF switch, and series/parallel switch. The wheel control section is the active/passive switch, bass, and treble. The sound is also very NYC-esque. This is an attractive guitar that combines unique looks with a practical sound. Approximately 70% of the frets remain. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in poor condition, showing signs of high lift. It has been adjusted to the GIB standard (2.0mm-2.5mm at the 12th fret), and there is a slight buzz on the 1st string, but it is playable without any problems. Due to the bridge saddle, it is difficult to raise the string height of the 2nd and 3rd strings above their current height, so it is not possible to achieve balance at a higher string height. There are slight scratches on the body and paint. The electrical system is in good condition. The pickups have been replaced with ATELIER Z pickups, the preamp with a BARTOLINI XTCT, and the bridge with a Leo Quan BADASS II. Our repairman also replaced the jack and battery box.
