Taking other serial numbers into consideration, we determined it to be from 1977.
The body is made of ash and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a classic construction.
This configuration delivers a sound that combines a wide range with a strong mid-range.
While many 1970s JBs have a rather bland sound, this one seems to have a rich low end.
The guitar has been refretted, and the nut replaced accordingly. It feels smooth to play, and the work was done with great precision.
The heart of the guitar, such as the electrical system, is original, with an appealing, vintage-inspired, refined feel.
I believe it will continue to be a staple at the forefront of guitar history.
I highly recommend it.

The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows slight high-rise. The GIB standard string height is 2.0mm-2.5mm above 12th fret, and depending on picking strength, there may be some buzzing in the higher positions.
The body and paint show minor scratches. There is some tarnish on the metal parts.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The nut has been replaced following the refret.
