Edwards is a brand under the ESP umbrella.
It has been supported by many musicians for its high quality while keeping the price low.
This is the Edwards version of the ESP / ECLIPSE S-1, the signature model of Mr. SUGIZO, who has been active in Japan and abroad with LUNA SEA, XJAPAN, THE LAST ROCKSTARS, and others.
The most famous signature model of SUGIZO released by Edwards is the E-CL-90, but this is a higher-end model equipped with race sensor pickups and mid-boost.
The wood used for the body is alder.
It is finished in painted black color for a cool look.
The neck is maple and the fingerboard is rosewood, traditional woods essential in the history of electric guitars.
The pickups are Race Sensor.
The pickups are characterized by low noise and high output compared to normal single-coil pickups.
Furthermore, this model is equipped with a mid-boost circuit.
This allows for a fat sound that is comparable to that of humbuckers.
The Race Sensor pickups and mid-boost circuit are the same combination used in Eric Clapton's signature model.
The bridge uses a Floyd Rose tremolo.
This allows for dynamic arming and a wider range of expression.
This model looks like a Les Paul type, but has the specifications of a Stratocaster type.
This is a rare model that is not often seen on the market, so don't miss it.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod is working and the neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are black, so there are a number of scratches on the surface when exposed to light.
There is some rust on the black parts.
There is a 4mm ding on the top of the body and a 13mm paint crack on the neck.
The binding has some scorching due to age.
There is a crack in the binding near the nut.
The lock nut cap has been replaced.
