The Japan Tune-up series is manufactured overseas, and the nut adjustment, fret grinding, edge processing, etc. are done domestically.
This aims to keep the price low while maintaining high quality, and to be comparable to the top quality Japanese products in every aspect.
I actually saw the work being done at Divider's workshop in Nagano, and the way each guitar is carefully finished is no different from the top-of-the-line HANDMADE series.
The manufacturing itself is done in Indonesia.
