Atelier Z is a brand that specializes in making copies of the NY style JBs that were popular for a while.
This is a signature model of legendary Japanese bassist Shunsuke Ishikawa.
It's basically a copy of an American custom brand based on the Fender Jazz bass from the 1970s.
The body material is special: Ash for the body top and Alder for the back.
The neck is Maple and the fingerboard is Rosewood, which is standard.
The bridge is a copy of BADASS BASS II.
The original single coil PU is matched with a Bartolini XTCT.
An excellent inexpensive reproduction of the NY style.
