こうしたベースを弾くと必ずしもスケールは34インチが正しいわけではないかもしれない、と感じます。
また、ネック及び指板にはローステッドメイプルを採用しています。
ローステッドメイプルとは、メイプルを高温処理したもので、元々はフィンランドのサウナの建築材に使われていたものです。
高い強度と安定性が得られ、高温多湿に強くなるのが特徴だと言われています。
高温処理の段階で狂いが出たものは当然使われることはなく、そうした意味でも一段階クオリティが上がるものであると言えるでしょう。
コントロールはボリューム、バランサー、トレブル、ベース、そしてプリアンプのバイパススイッチです。
