Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese guitar builder Hiro Miura.

It's loved by many famous musicians, including Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of indigo jam unit, and Katsuji Morioka in Japan, as well as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton overseas.

This is a special guitar custom-ordered by GIB.

The XJ series is a Japanese-made line that has been highly praised, especially by studio musicians.

While built in a generally traditional style, it has some modern updates.

The neck joint is positioned slightly differently than usual, which you'll notice when you hold it, makes it easier for your left hand to reach the higher positions.

It's designed for modern musicians who use the entire fingerboard evenly.

The body is made of ash and the fingerboard is maple.
The fingerboard is slightly longer and has 22 frets.

The finish is lacquer, with the colors specified being White Blonde and Super Light Aged.
It has a classic yet somehow smart look that is characteristic of the XJ-1T.

The lacquer finish is a key feature, giving the sound an even more classic feel.

The tuning machines are HIPSHOT Ultralite paddle pegs.

The bridge is usually the original style, but since this was a custom order, we specified the HIPSHOT Style B.

The material specified is aluminum, which is lighter than brass.
This also contributes greatly to the classic sound texture.

The pickups are Raw Vintage.
They are handmade in California and are characterized by a clear, crisp, and vivid output.

They are more sensitive to the player's fingertips than before.
The neck pickup is deeper, the bridge pickup is more three-dimensional, and the mix produces a clear, tight low end.

The preamp is an original Xotic design.

Controls include neck volume (active/passive switch), bridge volume (series/parallel switch), passive tone, treble, middle, bass, mid frequency switch, and treble frequency switch.

The sound is refined, with just the right amount of low end and pleasant overtones.

Playability is also extremely high, making it an all-around high-level guitar.

Session and studio musicians in particular are always in demand for JBs that offer a traditional sound while incorporating modern playing controls and preamps.

However, there are not many products that meet this demand in terms of quality.

I believe the Xotic XJ is one product that perfectly meets that need.

● Lifetime Free Maintenance

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free "string vibration setup" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)

- Please present your signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online store is eligible.
- Please note that shipping and other related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.

● Defect Guarantee

Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
