Ximera is a collaborative brand between Sago and Sonic.
The iconic features of each brand are mixed to create a new style that has never been seen before.
The impression is that Sago is largely responsible for the woodworking and painting, while Sonic is responsible for the built-in and electrical system design.

This particular model was displayed at the Sound Messe in 2023, and we decided to order it immediately after playing it once.
We are sure that if you play it, you will feel its value as well.

The body is made of thermo-alder.
Thermo-wood is wood that has been treated with high heat to adjust the moisture and oil content inside the wood, making it stronger against high temperatures and humidity.
It was originally used in Finland as a building material for saunas, and was popularized by Sago as a material for musical instruments.

It is sometimes said that the condition of the wood after treatment is similar to that of vintage wood.
The impression is that it has a rough playing feel.

The paint is finished with Sago's original wrap coating.
It is an iconic look.

The fingerboard is a design called conical radius.
It is very similar to the compound radius and is finished with different radius on the low fret side and the high fret side. (240-410mm)

Sonic Jupiter LJB-01 pickups are used.
Basically, it is based on the sound of 60's JBs, and is favored by many artists, including Bump of Chicken Naoi who actually uses it.
In this model, noise cancellation coils are also used, so that the pickups themselves are noise cancelled.

A Sonic Bonheur BH-2M is used as the preamplifier.
This is a somewhat unique design with a low-mid and high-mid 2-band EQ.

Rather than designing a loud sound like a typical active bass, it has a passive + α impression, slightly arranging nuances in the midrange.

The bridge is equipped with Sonic's Tri-Tone Separate Bass Bridge, which separates the ball end from the saddle.
In this particular model, a KTS titanium saddle is used.

Mr. Takeda, a skilled craftsman, carefully assembles these parts.
The guitar was finished to perfection again prior to delivery.

In terms of sound, it gives the impression of a modern JB.
However, it is not strangely hard or tight, and the sound is not too fast, but you can feel a bouncing nuance with a slight sense of compression.

The open playing feel is extremely 4-string-like, and it is a pleasure to play.
I think it will be attractive to many musicians.
