With this pedal, I aimed for a more specific range-focused tone for a style like mine, and simple, easy-to-use controls.
DRIVE is an active EQ that adjusts the amount of distortion, LOW and HIGH respectively.
Two more switches, unfamiliar to you, are also included.
FILTH increases the presence component to create a more aggressive sound.
DIRT produces an even stronger drive sound.
He himself has it set with DRIVE at 12 o'clock, HIGH at 3 o'clock, LOW at 1 o'clock, and FILTH on.
He probably prefers a trebly, galloping attack sound!

Adjusts the overall gain and amount of overdrive.
LOW, HIGH
Active tone control, cut or boost from 12 o'clock. This post-EQ section gives you complete tone control at your fingertips; boosting Low and High compensates for the limited range of your speaker cabinet or combo. (See 1/4" universal output on previous page.)
Tip: Set the EQ flat on the mixing board and adjust the SansAmp to your liking. If you need a more complex EQ curve, use an equalizer on the console or outboard.
LEVEL.
It is recommended to set it at least halfway (12 o'clock). When used with an amplifier: must be unity gain (close to or equal to the signal when bypassed). The input of the amplifier may be overloaded, causing undesired distortion.
DIRT Switch.
Adds gain and overdrive for "over-the-top" ferocity!
FILTH switch
Adds top-end sizzle and razor-edged edge, emphasizing attack.
