This model is a modern PJ-style bass based on the Precision Bass, with added flexibility.
The neck is made of roasted maple with a satin finish.
This is also known as thermowood.
Thermowood, developed by the Japanese company Sago for use in musical instruments, was originally used in Finland as a sauna construction material.
Pursued for its resistance to high temperatures and humidity, thermowood's usefulness for musical instruments is evident from its use by top manufacturers such as Sadowsky and Suhr.
A certain amount of thermowood is apparently discarded during the processing process.
Presumably, even those that will eventually warp will be played here.
The sound is richly refined and full of nuance.
The fingerboard is also made of roasted maple. Unlike the neck, this one has a gloss finish.
The edges are nicely rounded to improve playability.
Most players will have a positive impression of this specification.
The body is made of ash with a beautiful grain.
The pickup layout is a PB-type split coil plus a JB-type single coil.
This is the so-called PJ style.
It is equipped with a preamp, allowing for a wide range of sound-making possibilities.
The electronics were, of course, supervised by Marcus Miller.
The controls are extensive, including volume, tone, balance, bass, middle, mid frequency, treble, and an active/passive switch.
While it may look complicated at first glance, it makes sense for bassists.
The sound is well-balanced from low to high, with a distinctively crisp tone.
Even those who regularly play JBs will be pleased with this.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your instrument within six months of purchase, we will guarantee a full repurchase price. This guarantee applies to 50% of the purchase price for new instruments and 70% of the purchase price for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will provide free repairs (returns and refunds only if repairs are not possible) for any malfunctions that occur during normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase.
The warranty period is three months for used instruments and one year for new instruments.
Please note that even within the warranty period, a fee will be charged for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- When replacing consumable parts.
- In the event of malfunction or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- In the event of malfunction or damage caused by operating the instrument in a manner that violates the instructions in the instruction manual.
- In the event of malfunction or damage to a part that has been repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
