This is a top-of-the-line custom bass that was fully custom-made.
The body back is made of walnut, and the top is made of a complex construction using flame maple, walnut, Padauk, etc.
It is a top-quality wood for the purpose of decorating the luxurious appearance and as a tonewood.
The 864mm scale neck is made of a multi-layer laminate structure with maple and walnut sandwiched in between.
The method of making the neck by gluing multiple pieces of wood together is intended to reduce left-right and individual differences and achieve higher stability.
The fingerboard is rosewood.
It has a chic look that balances with the gorgeous body, but the dot inlays are abalone, giving it a very elegant finish.
The fingerboard radius is 14 inches.
The pickups are original dual coils.
The beautiful preamp that goes with them is an original design, and it is equipped with a 4-band EQ.
GOTOH is used for the bridge and tuning machines.
The string pitch is 18mm.
It has a very unique look, but it feels surprisingly normal to hold.
I don't think it will feel particularly strange to those who usually use Fender basses.
The sound is very smooth and has an impressive silky texture.
However, it has a strong mid-range, as is typical of a walnut body, and because of this, the sound image does not collapse even when you create a bold sound with the 4-band EQ, and it never becomes vulgar.
It gives the impression of a slightly open Ken Smith, and a slightly neat Fender.
