This is a 5-string PJ bass specially custom-ordered by GIB.
It was ordered in a classic and beautiful color.
Divisor's painting technique is very advanced, and we think you can tell from the appearance.
The paint is Top Lacquer finish.
The color of the paint changes drastically as the top clear layer discolors.
I think this balance of using a strong paint such as urethane for the base and a lacquer finish for the top, which is related to the looks, is very rational.
The frets are Jescar 9662NS, which are different from the usual ones.
Although Momose is basically of very high quality, we have often received requests for repair work to correct fret bite, or fret lift.
We decided that the best way to improve this problem was to change the frets, so we placed a custom order.
The body is Alder 2P and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood, a classic configuration.
It has the fatness of a PB, the sharpness of a JB, and a wide range of sound variation with both.
Easy to play, sounds great, and looks great.
