Momose is based in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan and produces high quality basses and guitars.

The MJ is an ambitious work based on the traditional JB style and incorporates unique design details.
This is the so-called Show model, manufactured by Divisor in 2022.

The EWC in the model name means Exotic Wood Custom.
This series is built using the finest woods, carefully selected by the most discerning craftsmen.

The beautiful body top is called Ghianda, which is a so-called acorn.
The body back is made of alder.

The neck is made of beautiful quarter-sawn maple and the fingerboard is made of rare one-tone ebony.
The high quality of these may only be found on the Shaw model.

The PU is a Mojotone and the preamp is an Aguilar OBP-2.
Controls are volume, balancer, tone, treble/bass and preamp bypass switch.

The sound has universal appeal in ensembles, containing plenty of swinging bass and atacky, air-pounding treble.

This is a must-try for the bassist who is not only a scene-stealer, but also for the bassist who wants to get his own special one.
