Maurizio Über Basses is a Malaysian-based brand producing high-class basses.
The builder, Maurizio Caduto, originally from Italy, is highly regarded in Europe and the USA for his beautifully crafted pieces with a unique sense of style.

This model is a unique modern model with a single-cut body.
Good playability is ensured throughout the entire range, giving it a beautiful appearance and playability.

The body back is chambered nyato and the top is made of high-quality flame maple.
The neck is maple and the fingerboard is bird's eye maple.

The neck is single-cut and reinforced with carbon, giving it a strong, solid feel.
That's why the string vibration has a nuance that extends smoothly, and it seems to show its true value only at low string heights.
After creating such string vibrations, they are output by the powerful combination of Bartolini dual coil PUs and Aguilar OBP-3s.

Controls are volume (push pull SW to switch between single and hum PUs), balancer, bass, middle (push pull SW to switch middle frequencies), treble and active/passive switch SW.

The bridge and pegs are made of Hipshot, giving it a Western feel.

The sound is clear and speedy, with no excesses or deficiencies in the low frequencies.
Organic overtones are beautifully balanced from low B to high C, giving a neat impression.
As it is not cluttered or saturated, it is strong in chord work with a number of loaded notes, and I feel that the design intent was to make the most of the unique benefits of a six-string.
