As the name suggests, Nambu Tekki Effects is a brand of effects pedals that use Nambu Tekki (cast iron) as the housing.
The case is heavier than those usually made of aluminum, and the sound is described by the developer as "thick sound pressure and fast response to picking".
The developer, Mr. Keijiro Fukushima, majored in electronics engineering at Tokyo Denki University in order to produce effect pedals.
This is an overdrive preamp designed to be used with a bass guitar.
As you can see, the chassis is from a series that is not made of Nambu ironware.
The controls are unique.
S (SENSE) Input level adjustment to generate octave sound.
OCT (OCTAVE) volume of octave sound.
If you play well, you can turn the octave bar on and off with the strength of your picking.
Sound-wise, it is not blatantly fat and straightforward.
