The CLF Research Series recreates the style of the early days as closely as possible.
Named after Leo Fender's real name, Clarence Leo Fender, the series features classic specifications such as a metal plate, headstock, and switches.
The L-1000 is styled like a Precision Bass, equipped with a single large humbucking pickup.
The layout is just like a Precision Bass, and the body itself is also somewhat symmetrical, like a Precision Bass, giving it a strangely fitting nuance.
A switch allows you to change the pickup wiring, with options including parallel, single, and OMG mode.
OMG mode is like an adaptation of series connection, emphasizing a slightly rounder high range and a more powerful, massive low range.
The sound is characterized by a rich low range and a bouncy, rubber-ball-like bounce.
A wide range of sounds can be created by making full use of the flexible switches and EQ.
Although this is a slightly more niche model, it is highly functional and is favored by many professional bassists. We highly recommend giving it a try.

● Lifetime Free Maintenance
Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free ""string vibration setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)
- Please present your signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online store is eligible.
- Please note that shipping and other related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
