D'mark Guitars is a Brazilian guitar brand that has been around since 1998.
Their quality is highly regarded, especially in South America, and in recent years their name has also become known in Europe and the United States.

This model is an Alpha 6 from the Special Reserve Series, assembled exclusively for Japan by order of GIB.

As you'd expect from Brazil, a country rich in forestry resources, this guitar is beautifully crafted using a variety of high-quality woods.

The body top is made of beautiful Buckeye Burl.
As you can see, it's very elegant.

The back of the body is made of Brazilian Mahogany and Cedar.

The neck is a three-piece construction made of Brazilian Hard Maple and Muiracatiara wood.
Muiracatiara may be an unfamiliar wood, but it is native to Central and South America and is extremely hard.

As such, it is prized for its use in furniture, flooring, knives, and guns.

The fingerboard is made of Hard Maple.

The pickups and preamp are original.
It features a 3-band EQ and controls for volume, balance, treble, middle, bass, preamp bypass switch, and middle frequency switch.

It's characterized by a smooth playing feel, and its playability, including this aspect, is of exceptional quality.
The quiet, far-reaching sound, typical of a neck-through guitar, is beautiful and eloquent.

There's a nuanced, seamless connection from the low B string to the high C string, fully expressing the player's musical sensibility.

The sound is relatively solid and sharp.
I think you can also hear a hint of a JB.

South American instruments are high quality and unique, but many are so unique that many brands, which primarily focus on the North American style, have found it difficult to find a suitable electric bass.

However, this brand, which has been gaining popularity in recent years, blends in North American elements to create a more approachable finish.

While the neck-through style trend has somewhat died down, this is an exceptional product that may inspire you to reconsider the style.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, so I hope you'll give it a try.
