Capurso Guitars is a high brand of handmade, high-quality guitars based in Italy.
Although not yet well known in Japan, the brand is favored by guitar influencers such as ERMANNO CARLÀ, GIACOMO TURRA, and MAURIZIO FILARDO.
The instruments that builder Andrea Capurso creates are commonly traditional, experimental, and musical.
He takes a shining concept and gives it shape in the form of an instrument with solid skills.
This model is the LIGHT STRAT EFFE DELUXE, which has a double cutaway body and semi-hollow construction.
It is a double cutaway style, but has a modern look without a pickguard.
The body back is made of mahogany and the top is made of maple, a rare Les Paul-like combination for this style.
The semi-hollow construction with f-holes gives it a characteristic sound between solid and acoustic with a good boxiness and tightness.
The top of the body is a beautiful metallized green, a color rarely seen in Japan, and the back is a natural color that brings out the grain of the wood.
