Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano, Japan.
Bacchus is a brand under the umbrella of Divisor, which owns a large guitar factory called Asuka Factory, and is highly regarded by many musicians for the high quality of its guitars because they are handcrafted by the factory itself.
This model is released from the Universe Series of Bacchus, which offers a lineup with excellent cost performance.
It is designed based on the top-of-the-line WOODLINE model, with a slight dinky-shape body.
The neck is a 5-piece laminated neck made mainly of maple with rosewood.
You can see that they are trying to provide high strength against warping and twisting.
Barre poplar is placed on the body top.
Barre refers to a mass area that has formed (or is formed) at the base of the tree.
It has an exotic look that is unusual and is often seen on high-end bass brands.
The original pickups are very well balanced with a wide range and a cohesive sound.
The matching 3-band EQ is powerful and effective, and allows for flexible sound makeup.
The playability is high and the sound quality is good, just like Bacchus, so it is highly recommended not only as a first 5-string bass, but also as a sub-bass.
